Introduction to Edexcel International Advanced Level (IAL)

Pearson Edexcel International Advanced Level is designed for international learners who want to
progress to the best universities around the world. Edexcel International Advanced Subsidiary (AS)
and the Pearson Edexcel International Advanced Level (A2) are part of a suite of International
Advanced Level qualifications offered by Pearson for the students who successfully complete their
IGCSE. The International Advanced Level can be claimed on completion of all the units (AS and A2
               units).

               IAL at SSLSD

IAL is designed in two stages and is taught in two years at SSLSD. In Year 12, students follow the AS
level while in year 13 they complete their A2 Level.

SSLSD has been an Edexcel examination centre for the past 10 years. Students are coached to sit for
the May/June exam series for their AS and A2 levels, however, resitting and certain subjects are
               offered in October and January.
