The qualification is designed primarily for students who are studying Global Citizenship inorder to
enhance their educational or employment prospects as well as to develop students’ understanding
of how communities interact locally, nationally, regionally and globally in response to change.

Human Biology: Subject code: 4HB1 IGCSE 9-1

This qualification aims at preparing students for more advanced courses in biology and for other
courses that require knowledge of human biology, such as health and social care.

 This subject will be taught in year 10 (from 2 Semester) and year 11.
 Lessons will be conducted in after school.

 Students who achieved 80% above for Biology at the 1 semester exam will be
eligible to take Human Biology as a subject for IGCSE exam.
