5. Year 10 /11 Curriculum Overview:

Students will continue to study the IGCSE qualifications they started in year 9:

 ICT
 Business Studies
 Biology/ Science Single Award
 Physics/Accounting
 Chemistry/Economics
In year 10, the students will switch from iLower Secondary English to either English Language A or
English as a second Language .They will also switch from iLower Secondary Mathematics to
Mathematics A qualification.

The students will also choose between English Literature and Global citizenship according to their
preference.

It is compulsory for all students to study minimum of eight subjects for the IGCSE examination.
Those students who major in Science Stream can also study Human Biology as an additional subject.

If a student wishes to do more than 8 subjects for IGCSE examination, the class teacher or the
sectional head should be informed before they enter year 10. If a student wishes to drop a subject,
the HOD- Examinations should be informed with prior approval from the principal before submitting
the examination application.
