Mathematics: Edexcel iLower Secondary Mathematics

The Pearson Edexcel iLower Secondary Mathematics curriculum has been created as an
internationalized curriculum, providing a strong foundation in mathematics. The curriculum
reinforces concepts from primary Mathematics and bridges the gap to the study of
International GCSE Mathematics and beyond.

Assessment Overview

This assessment contains two main sections:

Section A (15 marks)

Multiple choice questions

Section B( 65 marks)

Closed-response and short open-response items

Business Studies: Subject code: (4BS1 IGCSE 9-1)

The course is designed to give students a sound understanding of business, and the ability to use
knowledge, skills and understanding appropriately in the context of individual countries and the
global economy.

Paper 1 Investigating small businesses 1 hour 30 minutes 80 marks 50% of the IGCSE syllabus
Paper 2 Investigating large businesses 1 hour 30 minutes 80 marks 50% of the IGCSE syllabus
