Information and Communication Technology: Subject Code:4IT1 -IGCSE 9-1

This qualification aims at providing the students with knowledge and understanding of Information
and communication Technology as well as training hem to develop skills to apply such knowledge in
producing IT based solutions.

Assessment overview:

Paper 1 Written paper 1 hour 30 minutes 100 marks 50% of the IGCSE syllabus
Paper 2 Practical paper 3 hours 100 marks 50% of the IGCSE syllabus

English Literature:

In year 9 all students will study English Literature as a foundation course before they choose
between English Literature and Global Citizenship in year 10.

Qatar History:

Qatar History is a mandatory subject for year 9 students and subject will not continue as an IGCSE
subject. Students will study the text book prescribed by the MOE Qatar.

Assessments will be Monthly tests and semester exams only.
